Late Entry Songwriters Contest Details will be accepted through Tuesday, September 29. Late entries will NOT be entered in the October 24 contest. Details follow.
Entry Cost: $55 per entry.
Each entry consists of 2 original songs per songwriter on one CD with a lyric sheet for each song.
Please submit each entry in this format: One set of CD’s and lyric sheets with the songwriter’s name, title and date clearly marked.
Songwriters may also submit 1 environmentally themed song for a separate Green Song Contest. Each entry consists of 1 original song per songwriter on one CD with a lyric sheet for this song.
Entries will not be returned. Entry fees are non-refundable. Each person who enters will receive one annual Tree Hill Artist membership per entry.
Song Entries will be reviewed by Nashville producer Michael Knox. Late entries will not particpate in the October 24 contest. However, each late entrant will be invited to the October 23 private Q & A with Michael Knox and will have the opportunity to sign up to perform during the day's open mike opportunities.
Note: Michael Knox will participate in a private one hour Q & A at Tree Hill on Friday, October 23, 2009 for ALL songwriters who entered the Songwriters Contest.
Each song submitted must be the contestant's original work. Songs may not exceed 5 minutes in length.
Late Entry Musicians/ Performers Contest Details:
Entry Cost: $70 per entry.
Each entry consists of a minimum of 3 songs. The format for each artist’s package is determined by the artist. The songs may be original or covers.
Entries will not be returned. Entry fees are non-refundable. Each person who enters will receive a Tree Hill Artist membership.
Performance entries will be judged exclusively by Nashville producer Michael Knox. The quality of the artist performance and the artist package presentation will both be a consideration. (Mailing costs over that are $5 per entry will be added to the entry fee.)
Note: Michael Knox will participate in a private one hour Q & A at Tree Hill on Friday, October 23, 2009 for all performers who entered the Artist Performance Contest.

Signature on Songwriter’s entry form constitutes each song submitted is an original work and releases the Contest and sponsors from all liability. Entry in both contests constitutes permission to use winner’s names and likeness for future advertising and publicity without compensation.
